The BCIA is seeking an experienced Business-to-Business Marketing Specialist (contract/freelance position) to develop a marketing strategy to effectively reach BCIA’s current and potential new markets.
-develop a marketing strategy (direct and digital) to attract new members/new markets, particularly difficult to reach overseas and e-commerce companies
-develop a strategy to promote relevant but lesser-known BCIA programs and services
-conduct market research to establish member needs
-assist with the strategy and creation of social media campaigns
-7-10 years experience
-preference for someone with international/multi-cultural competency, as our industry and members are worldwide and marketing endeavours will need to reflect this
-strong critical thinking, time management and communication skills
-familiarity with the juvenile products industry and/or non profit/trade associations an asset
-able to work remotely as an independent contractor. Org is registered in the US, but the right candidate can be located anywhere
Budget and Timeline:
-100-150$/per hour, 20-60 hours, depending on experience and scope of proposal.
The BCIA is a non-profit 501(c)(6) trade association that was formed in 2010 to protect and advance the baby carrier industry. We represent manufacturers, retailers, educators and related organizations in their endeavors to bring quality carriers and carrier education to caregivers.
