New eFiling initiative by the US CPSC

The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission is currently completing beta testing on their new eFiling initiative. The testing has allowed them to fine-tune the eFiling system.

EFiling refers to a requirement for those importing products into the United States to electronically file a Children’s Product Certificate with the US government. They expect to roll out this program and requirement in full during 2025. You can learn about the eFiling program on the CPSC website.
